Tango levels

Defining "levels" in tango is complex and subjective. There is no universally accepted idea of what it means to be a beginner, intermediate, or advanced dancer. The term professional dancer as "highest" level of dancer is also questionable in its use, because professionalization usually means that the dancer uses the dance as a profession, and it doesn't say anything about the quality.

Usually, the different tango levels that are used are:

  1. (Non-Dancers)
  2. Beginner
  3. Intermediate Dancer
  4. Advanced Dancer
  5. (Professional Dancer)
